Peregrine Scout Group (Open), a community scouting group in Singapore, organized a Leave No Trace (LNT) Awareness Workshop for their cubs over 2 Saturday mornings, to learn about enjoying the outdoors responsibly. The sessions were conducted at Kampong Glam Community Club and Kallang Riverside Park by Cub Scout Leader John, who is a certified LNT Master Educator.

In addition to learning about LNT Principles, the participants also had the opportunity to take ownership of their environment by picking up litter in the park after each session. Five participants who had attended both sessions of the Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop were awarded a certificate, a badge, and a hang-tag containing a quick reference guide of the 7 LNT Principles. The cubs enjoyed themselves very much and looked forward to the next clean-up activity, putting the knowledge that they had acquired to good use.
