Ministry of Youth and Sport In the period of July 22 to July 30, 2017, in Făleşti district, Călineşti village, 428 young people from all corners of Moldova, but also outside of it, for 9 days, had been a part of the biggest educational event of Scouting - The Vth National Scout Jamboree of National Scout Association of Moldova having the motto "Adventure starts!". The Jamboree was organized with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Moldova within the Grants Program 2017. Young people and children built a town on their own in the nature, which brought together the main scout values: friendship, equality, responsibility, family, caring for oneself and for neighbor. They had a unique and interactive educational program aimed to call on education for nature protection, creativity development, skills and life skills development, volunteering, identifying solutions for a sustainable development of local communities, and encouraging and promoting diversity in society. The program of the event was built so that at the end of the Jamboree each participant had the opportunity to assess its personal achievement, gaining new abilities for daily life and taking an active role in the local community. Participants learned how to live harmoniously together and build a Better World!
