21 September was declared the International Day of Peace by the General Assembly, devoting the day to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. Today at USM, we celebrated by inviting our KLKM USM Heroes to talk about their experience at global conferences. They talked about the amount of diversity that one event could possess. That so many people from different nations and backgrounds did not have problems expressing their love for people and humanity. It has dawn to us that we as the people of Earth has the capability and potential to stop all wars and feud but chose not to. We have to start learning and understanding that we are not different people but the same person in different shoes. At least for tonight we celebrate the peace we have in our nation and many other nation in the world.
