International Coastal Cleanup on the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast (The Emerald Coast)

Cub Scout Pack 787 working in partnership with other local volunteer organizations and individuals here in Northwest Florida's Gulf Coastal Area (South Walton County) and working with other organizations around the globe. We volunteering for the Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup that engages people to remove trash from the world’s beaches and waterways, identify the sources of debris and change the behaviors. Additional work we will be working with the Friends of South Walton Sea Turtles organization to help work on the beaches to fill in holes and sand castles that harm our sea turtles coming in for the annual nesting season on our local beaches. We invite other Scout organizations to become involved on September 17th to help clean up our coastal areas and waterways.
