I was awarded the Hometown USA award at my last court of awards, which is when I receive my merit badges and other patches. For this award my family and I had to clean a overgrown cemetery which had leaves, brush, and vines which my sister and I could swing from! The family that had been buried there was the Smith family. Even though I didn't know them I still helped out in my local community. It took a lot of time and work but I felt that it was due to those who have past.
