Helping Hajj Pilgrims at Dhaka Hajj Camp

I joined this project because I wanted to help pilgrims during their Hajj journey. Many of them are elderly or traveling for the first time, so they need guidance and support. My goal was to make their experience easier, safer, and more comfortable. I was inspired by the values of kindness, service, and my commitment as a Scout to help others in need
I volunteered at the Dhaka Hajj Camp, welcoming pilgrims and giving them information about travel and procedures. I helped carry luggage, guided people to the right places, and supported those who needed extra care. I worked together with other volunteers and camp staff to make sure everything was well organized and that pilgrims felt safe and respected.
I learned how important teamwork and patience are when helping large groups of people. I also improved my communication skills by talking to people from different backgrounds. Most importantly, I learned that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference in someone’s journey.
