Help the needy, save the environment, save lives
The monthly period is a big challenge for the females, especially the teenagers. Moreover, students coming from poor background face problem in not being able to effort the sanitary pads. In addition, even if people are financially sound, the pads sold in the shops are not environment-friendly. For this, I along with my spouse asked help from one of the members then in education division, madam Deki Tshomo, who is now working in NCWC where she provided two sewing machines along with other necessary materials. With this, my Tarayana club members started to produce environment-friendly and reusable pads for our girls.
