Greener Bugo, a tree at a time
The Senior Scouts of Bugo National High School – Bugo NHS Chapter rolled up our sleeves and made a real difference! With dedication and teamwork.
This remarkable effort was led by 𝐁𝐒𝐏 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐄𝐥𝐥𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐀. 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚, 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐀. 𝐋𝐞𝐞, and 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐌. 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐨. It was also made even more impactful through the guidance and presence of CSE 𝐒𝐜𝐭𝐫. 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐑. 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫, 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐭𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞, and 𝐒𝐜𝐭𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐳.
A successful and impactful tree-planting initiative was carried out along the riverbanks of Zone 4, Bugo, where a total of 100 Giant Bamboos, 50 Toga trees, and 20 Marang trees were strategically planted. This effort goes beyond simply putting trees into the ground—it represents a commitment to environmental sustainability, riverbank protection, and long-term community resilience. Each tree planted is a step toward a greener, healthier ecosystem and a future we can all take pride in building together. Through this collective action, we are not just planting trees—we are nurturing hope, restoring balance, and investing in the well-being of generations to come.
