Green Mind Pathshala
We were inspired by the growing threat of climate change and its direct impact on vulnerable communities, especially in rural areas. We strongly believed that effective change begins at the grassroots level, and that youth can play a powerful role in driving that change. Our goal was to raise awareness and build capacity among young people so they could take meaningful action to protect the environment and support their communities.
With support from FIVDB and the British Council, we formed a 15-member youth team and selected a climate-affected village. We organized workshops on tree planting, afforestation, and climate awareness. These sessions engaged the local community directly. To ensure practical impact, we ended by distributing 200 tree saplings, turning knowledge into real action.
We learned that combining awareness with action—like tree distribution—creates real impact. Youth engagement and strong partnerships played a key role. Most importantly, we realized that small local efforts can contribute to global climate solutions.
