69th Scout Group „Tęczowi Marzyciele” (Rainbow Dreamers) from Łowicz ZHP's District realized a project entitled “Grandparents contra Cub-Scouts”. The project gave to elderly people from our region a possibility to joint some activities with their grandchildren affiliated in Rainbow Dreamers Group. We initiated meetings between generations in order to integrate two age groups with different way of perceiving the world. A life experience of Grandparents combined with the enthusiasm of young Cub-Scouts was a huge inspiration to us – organizers. The cultural and leisure offer for Seniors is limited.This is particularly evident in the areas of small villages. We wanted to integrate local seniors and motivate them to spending time activly with contact with nature, culture and art. We decided to invite Seniors to educational classes with their grandchildren. During first meeting project participants took part in ceramic workshops with mug painting. Each participant could get creative. Grandparents with great enthusiasm and very efficient movements of the hand painted sequential figures, helping their grandchildren. The workshops were led by long-term employees of Manufacture in Nieborow. During the second meeting the participants took part in the projection of a cult film entitled "The Academy of Mr. Blot", which was filmed at the Museum in Nieborow and Arkadia. After the screening there took place the patrol game at a park to find the missing button of Szpak Matthew and to stand 'eye to eye' with the characters from the movie. The project was coordinated by Sylwia Matysek from the ZHP's District in Łowicz.
