Led by one of our scouts as his Eagle Scout project, our troop helped create a community garden at a local high school.  In all the scouts and other volunteers created 19 wooden raised beds for growing vegetables.  The garden will be maintained by students at the high school and is going to be used to feed local people who can't afford enough food and to raise awareness about hunger.  Participants will also be taught about healthy nutrition and the importance of locally-sourced food.
