Flood Relief and Community Support
We were inspired to start this project after witnessing the severe suffering of families affected by the recent floods in our community. Many people lost their homes, access to food, and safe drinking water. As Scouts, our duty is to serve humanity and stand beside people in times of need. Guided by the Scout Promise and the vision of Scouts for SDGs, we felt it was our responsibility to take immediate action to support the flood-affected families and bring hope to those in distress.
The project helped flood-affected families by assessing needs, collecting essentials, and distributing relief packages. Scouts provided first-aid, raised awareness on hygiene, and stayed in touch with community leaders to ensure ongoing support.
We learned the importance of teamwork, planning, and quick response during emergencies, as well as the value of helping vulnerable communities and staying connected for ongoing support.
