EcoErase: Wipe Out Plastic-2025
To celebrate Bangladesh Scouts Day by taking meaningful environmental action. The goal was to create a cleaner, plastic-free campus and raise awareness about the harmful impact of plastic waste on our environment.
On April 8, 2025, plastic waste scattered around the campus was thoroughly collected and removed. The initiative was led by a Rover Member of Samatat Open Scout Group and supported by Former Senior Patrol Leader Samiur Rahman Khan of BIAM Model School & College Scout Group. The cleanup ensured a tidier space for students while promoting eco-conscious behavior.
We learned that even small cleanups can make a big visual and environmental difference. Working together strengthened team spirit, and the project reminded us that Scouts have a duty to lead by example in protecting the planet.
