Diwali is the festival of lights in India.But now a days people burn dangerous fire crackers limiltlessly. Our main object was to,aware of the harms of the pollution caused by the fire crackers that leads directly or indirectly to global warming. We went door to door from 19th to 21st october in our local area and aware people about pollution free diwali.Our scouts and guides collected 3000 wax lamps in 3 days. On 21st october we arranged Dipotsav ( Festival Of Lights ) programme.We invited other students except scouts and guides and their parents for this programme.In evening time we ignited all 3000 wax lamps in school premises and also gave message that diwali is festival of lights and peace not crackers. We also spread message about clean india campaign. 300 scouts and guides service = 300×7=2100 hours 100 other students service = 100×2=200 hours 50 parents and other staff members service = 50×2=100 hours Total service = 2400 hours
