Two weeks ago, I had been helping students of year 7 and 8 in designing and developing projects by applying 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycle) concept. Ten of my students brought old used materials from home and I taught them how to sew handkerchief, pillow cases and welcome banners from it. They enjoyed the learning session and could sew as per my expectation too. Embedding peace in 3R projects was an exciting job to do. Not only children felt peaceful intrinsically but I also felt satisfied and my mind was at peace since I had taught students how to utilize old materials in order to create income generating projects for livelihood.
