Date palm seed planting 2024
Any tree helps balance our environment. It takes in the carbon-dioxide present in the environment and releases oxygen. So our initiative this time is to plant four to five thousand date palm seeds. From here we will get lots of oxygen food like date fruit, date juice etc.
We, 10 rovers and girls in rovers from the Bogura Polytechnic Institute rover scout group, divided into two groups on 29 and 30 June 2024 from 10 am to 5 pm on both sides of the Bogura Karotoa river and planted about 5 thousand date palm seeds. These trees will gradually grow and fulfill many other needs including the beautification of the Karatoa River.
