Daily Physical Activity Leads to a Healthy Lifestyle
As part of Health Promoting initiatives in the Diet and Physical Activity category the school has taken a diverse approach towards implementing daily physical activity. Years 1 to 4 have their sports days on Thursdays nad Years 5 to 8 have it on Fridays. Apart from this each year level have their own PE sessions from Monday to Wednesday where every child is encouraged to take part in some sort of physical activity. During raining periods teachers implement indoor activities with minimised movements. Teachers also get together every Wednesdays to have their Wellness program with alternate activities every week. Through this exercise the school had received a Silver status in recognition with WHO and KOICA.
