This year, we decided to keep our commitment to our local park and once more do our ecologic service with them. As last year, the scout and cub-scout branches have been to a local park for cleaning and planting trees activities. After a little talk by the park's environment officer, to explain to the youth the reasons to clean the park and the concept of this specific natural park, the cub-scouts were in charge of removing any garbage that is visible to the eye. Meanwhile, the scouts have planted 200 flowers and herbs with the support of the park officers. After that, the park's officer explained to the youth the impacts of the garbage on the nature and on the town sewer system, which suffer many complications if garbage from the streets ends up in the sewer ducts.
