Connecting Futures: An AI Workshop for Youth
This initiative was motivated by the growing relevance of Artificial Intelligence in the global landscape and by the perception, both within the Scout Movement and in academic settings, of the need to prepare the new generations for the future of work.
The project was executed through a hands-on workshop conducted in a light and intuitive manner, structured much like a conversation with the students. The presentation of the modules was interspersed with practical activities and open discussions, which allowed the youth to interact, ask questions, and apply the concepts in real-time. This approach made the learning experience both dynamic and collaborative.
The Power of Partnerships: The collaboration with the Rotary Club was fundamental. It provided the essential connection to the school and the community, showing that partnerships are crucial for reaching the target audience.
Relevance Drives Engagement: Choosing a highly relevant and current topic like AI was a major strength. It naturally sparked curiosity and led to high engagement from the students.
