A local monastery, a winery and a threatened area of confiscation by the Israeli occupation, Cremisan. The scout-girls of De La Salle have taken upon themselves the responsibility of setting an example to positive change. They made a political, an environmental and a social statement by their actions. The simple act of cleaning the pathway leading to Cremisan did not only make it cleaner but also showed society the impact of a small number of people. This also conveyed a patriotic message of caring for Palestine, its' monumental places and it's beautiful nature . Friday, January the 13th at exactly 9 am 16 scout-girls where on the road with black bags and gloves on picking up trash from the ground, and by 1 pm nature got back to its nature of green grass, helpers from the association of recycling solid waste then took what was collected with trucks they were kind to provide. The fruitful day ended with a brief explanatory presentation on methods of recycling solid and organic waste by the engineer Eyad Abu Rdeneh.
