Church Clean Up

Church Clean Up

On May 3rd, Boy Scout troop 104 from Wayne, NJ logged in over 30 hours helping a local church fix up their yard. The scouts cleaned up the lawn, pulled weeds and moved 3 yards of top soil. The top soil was spread over some holes in the lawn. This not only helps make the lawn look nice, but it helps make the lawn safe to walk on. The scouts also cleaned up some large toys that the church uses for their pre-school program. The scouts used buckets of soap and water to scrub out the plastic houses, slide, swings and toy trucks. The scouts also cleaned up garbage around a large community field. We had a good turn out, over 10 scouts and they all worked hard for 3 - 4 hours.
