Celebration of Scouts Day & Community Cleaning Campaign
The Road NOT ignored-Collective Responsibility: We don't teach just in the classrooms but we do more than what we actually do in the classrooms. The staff along with students and scouts carried out a mass cleaning campaign to commemorate the birth anniversary of his majesty the king and to mark the national scout day. The program started at 8:30 Am sharp with the lighting of butter lamp and reciting of his majesty’s zhabten. The school started the picking up waste from the school gate and staff quarter premises at 10:15 Am. The team proceeded cleaning along the road side that leads to metsina town. Finally, the campaign came to an end at 2:00 pm as the team reached town. At the end of the campaign, the team, the team was able to collect almost 50 sacks of waste.
Such a program is especially organized to impart values on environmental cleanliness and it’s preservation in the mindset of students and the community as a whole.
