Today, we didn't just clean a beach, we restored a habitat. We didn't just collect trash, we protected a community. We didn't just make a difference, we inspired a movement. The Iligan City Council executed the project by conducting a beach cleanup, where volunteers collectively gathered, carefully sorted, and meticulously segregated waste into distinct categories, including biodegradable materials, non-biodegradable waste, plastic materials, and glass bottles, ensuring proper disposal and recycling methods were implemented to minimize environmental impact.
Through this coastal cleanup project, we learned the importance of teamwork, environmental responsibility, and community engagement. We gained hands-on experience in waste management and segregation, and developed a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of human actions and the health of our planet.
