This was a community service project my pack and other packs in Monmouth County, NJ took part in. We collected items (tolietries) and protein bars for the homeless at local schools. On March 23, 2017 all items were collected counted and bagged for the homeless in NYC. Scouts also prepared peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the homeless with the help of the NJ Titans minor leauge hockey team. I am unsure of how many people and how many hours were spent. I only included my self but there were several packs and troops along with the Titans team so probably well over 200 people turned out on the 23rd. Our pack will be doing this project again in October 2017.
