It was another sunny day in Taiwan, a small but beautiful island. Throughout the months of September and October, many beach cleaning activities have been organised all over the world. Our troop, Hsinchu City Ke-Yuan Community Scout Group, also decided to organise a beach cleanup. We started in the morning, collecting trash and separating them into different categories. By the end of the day, we had collected a total of 75 kg of trash, which included cigarette butts, food wrappers, abandoned fishing gear and even toys and kitchen appliances. It was a really good experience. We should all do our part for the environment by trying our best to keep it clean. 這一天，在台灣這個美麗的島嶼，又是個美好的天氣。全世界在九月至十月有許多淨灘的活動在進行，而在我們新竹市科園社區複式童軍團也利用團集會的時間進行了一次淨灘的活動。我們努力拾取人工垃圾，同時也對這些不同種類垃圾的數量進行分析。最後集會結束時，我們總共收集了 75 公斤的人為垃圾，這些垃圾包括了菸蒂、食物包裝、魚網與繩子等漁業相關垃圾，甚至還撿到了玩具和廚房用品。這次集會真的是很好的行善經驗，但最重要的是，每一個居住在地球上的人們都應該努力停止這些垃圾的來源。 Article: 陳雅伶 Chen, Ya-Ling Photo: 羅國強 Lo, Kuo-Chiang Video: 黃振家 Huang, Zhang-Jia
