Beach cleaning mission in Cox’s Bazar
Cox’s Bazar, the world’s longest sea beach, is our pride. Every day, countless tourists from various countries visit this beautiful place. A two-kilometer stretch of Cox’s Bazar Beach was recently the site of a cleaning campaign organized by Rover Scouts. The aim of the campaign was to keep the beach free from floating waste and other debris, raise environmental awareness, and educate both tourists and local residents about the importance of cleanliness.
The main goal of our initiative was to keep the beach clean, raise environmental awareness, and help tourists and local residents understand the importance of cleanliness. The campaign extended from the Laboni area to Sugandha Point. The Rover Scouts not only collected waste but also actively engaged with the local people, taking time to educate and raise awareness, thus successfully implementing the initiative.
This initiative by the Rover Scouts goes beyond just teamwork, responsibility, leadership, and keeping the beach clean; it is a social responsibility that raises public awareness and teaches us to inspire future generations with an environmentally conscious mindset.
