Howrah   District Contingent took part in a cleanliness drive at the Udaipur Sea Beach at New Digha to liberate the beach kiof its plastic wastes. The event was held under the Rover Ranger Samagam organized on the occasion of the Centenary Year of Rovering. The participants collected plastic littered on the beach into safety disposal bags and looked to the proper disposal of the waste collected. The act of cleaning this site of both tourist interest and natural significance went down well with the locals as well as those in visitation, and they commended this action of the participants with praise and appreciation.
The cleanliness drive was conducted under the leadership of Rajib Goswami, District Training Counselor (Scout), Howrah District Association.
