Participants from around the world, including Australia, Colombia, Honk Kong, Ireland, Switzerland and the UK, joined together to give something back to the village of Kandersteg. We went to the forest area of Oeschiwald, where there are several BBQ places provided for tourists and locals. We wanted to make the areas, tidy, clean, and ready to use. The jobs we did were as follows: Clear the ash from underneath the fire pits Scrub the metal grills to make them clean Rebuild the rocks that create the fire circles Cut back the bushes to make the paths more accesible Tidy away sticks, leaves and large rocks around the BBQ areas
