Aaron's Good Deeds

Aaron's Good Deeds

Today's volunteering was more towards spending time with most of the dogs from the last compound kennel because from my point of view I've noticed that not much volunteers would pay much attention to that kennel, walk or play with the dogs from that kennel, probably because that most of the old/older dogs were left in that kennel, if it was being compared to the other 2 kennels or because that the compound kennel was all the way at the corner and due to the odor not much people/volunteers would go all the way in. Besides that, today also marks the first day that I've met yet another new dog that was abandoned by the previous owner because the family was going to migrate to New Zealand. The dog that they left behind was extremely quiet at first and was inferior due to the sudden change of environment. However after I've spent sometime with him, I've soon realize that he was very obedient and friendly, it was such a waste that a dog like him would end up being left in a shelter but its also a common excuse for owners to put their dog in shelters when they plan for a migration to another country. I've walked , bathe, played and also fed the dogs from the last compound kennel treats but sadly the new dog could not be bathe because he was still new and the workers wanted him to get used to the environment first. Besides that, today I was also approached by a girl name Stephanie and her crew from MMU Cyberjaya who wanted me to help them do an interview on what volunteers in PAWS do for their assignment as well as help them raise fund for PAWS.
