The Sage Rover Crew, in partnership with the Anglican Church of Kenya (ACK) Diocese of Mt. Kenya West through the Kenya Anglican Youth Organization (KAYO), proudly led the Youth Walk & Clean-Up Exercise in Nyeri.

This event was strengthened by the support of partners including Outspan Medical College, Kenya Red Cross, Sage Rovers Crew, ADS Mt. Kenya, Nature Club, Kijana Ajibika Ministry, Kigooco FM, and other stakeholders, all united under the 2026 provincial theme: “Wholesome Ecology for a Wholesome Nation.”

During the clean-up exercise, participants worked tirelessly to clear overgrown vegetation from trenches, collect refuse scattered across public spaces, and unclog drainage systems to restore proper flow. These practical efforts not only beautified the municipality but also addressed pressing environmental concerns, ensuring cleaner surroundings and healthier living conditions for the community.

This collaboration between faith, government, youth, and community partners showcased the power of unity in action, building a cleaner, greener Nyeri and inspiring a sustainable future for Kenya. At the flag-off of the event, the Scouts facilitated the planting of a Ceremonial Tree.
