Jinja District inter patrol and Ibuget competitions have been organized with a composite approach whereby scouts are assessed on knowledge, skill and self-esteem to be able to handle a task or face a challenge. The competitions will be assessed in the four main areas namely; Inspections: Arrival, morning and night; hygiene, storage of food and equipments among others. Bases and project tasks: This is mainly theoretical and practical presentations as well as illustrations and displays respectively. Pioneering & Scout Craft: This involves construction of gadgets (temporary structures) using ropes and poles while using them. Scouting Spirit: Patrol system, uniformity, smartness and good orderliness among others.
