From July 10 to 12, the 1st National Scouts Freelancing Course was successfully held at the National Scouts Training Center, marking a bold step toward empowering youth with practical, future-ready skills. 💡 Why Freelancing for Scouts? Freelancing isn’t just a career path—it’s a lifestyle of independence, creativity, and global connection. With youth unemployment rising and the world shifting toward remote work, this course was designed to equip scouts with digital skills they can use to earn, grow, and contribute to the economy. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as: SDG 4 – Quality Education SDG 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth SDG 5 – Gender Equality, this initiative supports inclusive learning and income generation, regardless of background or location. 📚 What They Learned Over three days of interactive sessions, scouts learned: The basics of freelancing platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, and Freelancer Graphic design, content writing, and digital marketing fundamentals Client communication and project management Personal branding and portfolio building Participants engaged in hands-on activities, team challenges, and real project simulations—building confidence and capability in digital freelancing.
