WOSM held a focus group meeting in Paris, France from June 25 to 26, 2016. The meeting gathered representatives from 21 selected National Scout Organisations from all six WOSM regions. During the meeting, the participants had an opportunity to comment on the current work of WOSM, as well as discuss plans for the future. Through constructive debates, the participants have greatly contributed to the creation of a list of proposals for consideration in WOSM’s future work. These proposals will be used as one of the key information points for building the next Triennial Plan 2017-2020 as well as the overall work towards Vision 2023. WOSM remains committed to an open consultation process with NSOs about its current and future work through various methods – from surveys, interviews, to focus groups such as this one. NSOs’ opinions and feedback are crucial in ensuring that the support WOSM provides is in line with NSOs’ needs. The full report from the meeting is attached to this post.
