Walter Teka Primary School exploring literacy

The Literacy Adventure introduced Scouts to new ways of learning, building excitement and engagement among learners. The aim was to make reading fun and meaningful while supporting learners with different reading abilities.
Activities included reading, comprehension tasks, and creative exercises. Yeboneers guided learners patiently, identifying those who needed encouragement and extra support.
The project highlighted the importance of patience and confidence-building. Yeboneers learned how to motivate learners who struggle with reading and ensure that all children can participate fully in literacy activities.
