On the 16th of February the Scout troop "Totem" held classes on the basics of Scouting in English. These classes were attended by patrol leaders and Scouts who would like to improve their level of English. It was not the first training as part of the Ukrainian Scouts Language Team (USLT) project. Its program consists of regular classes, games and other activities that help to improve the level of English in order to communicate effectively with Scouts from other countries. The USLT project was developed as part of the All-Ukrainian Educational Scout Youth Forum. The main goal of the project is to give Scouts an opportulity to participate in international Scouting events. After the course Scout gets a badge which means that he or she could help in communication with English-speaking scouts.
