Spineview PS books build futures

The Literacy Adventure aimed to enhance Scouts’ reading and writing abilities while giving learners confidence in presenting work and exploring new stories. By fostering literacy and creativity, the project encouraged learners to broaden their horizons and discover new authors and ideas.
Learners explored dictionaries, read aloud, wrote short stories, and practiced research skills. Scouts provided guidance, encouragement, and support to maintain focus and engagement, helping learners overcome challenges and enjoy the adventure of reading and discovery.
The project emphasized patience, creativity, and encouragement in supporting literacy. Some learners struggled to focus or complete tasks, but guidance helped them gain confidence. Scouts learned the importance of structured programmes, monitoring progress, and making learning engaging while fostering reading skills.
