Small hands, Big impact: Cubs for sustainability

The Cubs of Alcateia 4 from 75º Scout Group (Baden Powell) RJ Brazil were motivated by the desire to care for the planet and help their community. By turning waste like bottles and caps into toys and collecting caps to fund mobility aids, they proved that even the smallest Scouts can create a big impact—spreading joy, promoting sustainability, and inspiring others to recycle, reuse, and reduce
🌱 The Cubs turned PET bottles and caps into creative toys, which were donated to children in need—promoting both recycling and kindness. ♻️ They also collected plastic and metal caps to support recycling programs that fund wheelchairs and mobility aids, helping transform waste into real support for those in need.
1.That recycling can spark creativity and transform waste into wonder. 2. They made a tangible impact on people's lives by supporting mobility and independence within their community. 3. They raised awareness, inspired change, and proved that even the smallest hands can make a huge impact.
