Siyabulela PS is Sparking Creativity with Literacy
The project aimed to help learners explore reading and express themselves through short stories. Yeboneers wanted to make literacy fun and boost learners’ confidence in writing creatively.
Learners engaged in reading exercises and short story writing, guided by Yeboneers who encouraged patience, attention, and creativity. The activities emphasized understanding, storytelling, and expressing ideas in writing.
Yeboneers learned the importance of patience and adapting to learners’ individual needs. They saw that fostering creativity and providing guidance helps learners build confidence and take pride in their literacy skills.
