Seaview PS reading is our journey
Seaview Primary’s project aimed to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity through reading. Yeboneers sought to make learning enjoyable while fostering confidence and self-expression among learners.
Activities included reading, story writing, dictionary work, and discussions. Learners developed comprehension, vocabulary, and creativity while Yeboneers guided them through collaborative and independent tasks.
The adventure showed that reading can spark imagination and self-confidence. Challenges included balancing different reading abilities, but consistent support helped learners engage fully. Yeboneers gained insights into effective literacy mentorship and adaptive teaching strategies.
