Scouts Unite: Guardians of the Marine World
It all started with a simple question: What if we could do something—no matter how small—to protect the ocean that sustains us? That thought became our driving force. Motivated by the urgent need to safeguard marine life and inspired by the energy of young Scouts eager to make a difference, we turned a cleanup day into a movement of purpose. Watching volunteers of all ages unite for a common cause reminded us that real change begins when a community comes together with heart, hands, and hope.
Bringing together Scouts and over 2,500 volunteers, the coastal cleanup at SM By the Bay was carried out through organized team efforts and strong community collaboration. Participants worked side by side to collect more than 16,000 kilos of waste, transforming a single day of action into a meaningful step toward ocean conservation. The event combined hands-on work with awareness, inspiring a shared commitment to protect marine life.
The project revealed the power of unity and teamwork in addressing environmental issues, showing how a single day of action can leave a lasting impact.
