Ridgeville PS reading opens doors

The Ridgeville Literacy Adventure encouraged learners to explore books, develop comprehension, and foster imagination. The Yeboneers focused on critical thinking, storytelling, and collaborative learning, giving learners an opportunity to discover the joy of reading and creative expression.
Learners engaged in reading, writing short stories, dictionary exercises, and discussions. Yeboneers supported comprehension, problem-solving, and teamwork. The activities provided exposure to library skills, vocabulary building, and creative literacy challenges.
YeboScouts observed that structured literacy activities can inspire learners and build confidence. Challenges included time management and guiding learners with varying skill levels. The project reinforced the value of mentorship, patience, and adaptability in fostering literacy growth.
