Planting endangered species

Our city has a hot climate wich has been getting even hotter each year due to deforestation.
I am a forestry engineering student and my university produces lots of seedlings for research, including native endangered species. My scout group headquartes is located in a primary school with a huge unused area, grass was growing all around, so I decided to unite the scouts to plant the trees. I also did a lecture for them to learn about the trees we were planting (reedwood, cedar, acapu and andiroba) and the importance of forests, biodiversity and taking real action against climate change.
I learnt about inspiring the young to do something for the enviroment
