Moshesh PS - Growing Through Reading

The Yeboneers wanted to strengthen learners’ reading, writing, and critical-thinking skills while helping them see how literacy connects to real life. They aimed to build confidence, creativity, and effective communication through meaningful reading and reflection.
Learners took part in reading activities, writing exercises, comprehension practice, and creative reflection. The Yeboneers encouraged exploration of new ideas, supported hesitant readers, and promoted discussion to deepen understanding.
The adventure showed that learners grow when they read with purpose and express ideas in their own words. Yeboneers learned the value of patience, encouragement, and building confidence through consistent practice. The project strengthened comprehension and helped develop a positive reading culture at the school.
