Mehndi festival and clothing distribution.
Seeing the suffering of the street children and the intense desire to alleviate their hardship inspired this project. My team and I were inspired to spread the joy of Eid among these innocent children. The humanitarian wish to relieve their helplessness and ensure social inclusion motivated this initiative. This work also encouraged many people around us to help street children.
My team and I first taught mehndi to alleviate the suffering of street children. And then, within about half an hour, we started distributing clothes. I worked to spread their Eid joy. The festival and distribution activities were executed through an organized process. This collective humanitarian effort was made possible through the dedicated work of the entire team.
We directly helped around 150 street children through the henna festival and cloth distribution. I learned that by doing this, we encourage many people around us to help street children. This project helped my team and me deeply realize the importance of empathy and service towards marginalized children in society.
