Ludwe PS: Building Strong Foundations With Reading
The team aimed to help learners build strong reading and writing foundations. They wanted learners to gain essential literacy skills, feel confident using language, and benefit from supportive guidance that strengthens lifelong learning.
Learners practised reading, writing, and library use while Yeboneers supported them through challenges—especially when library card requirements slowed progress. Learners engaged actively and responded well to structured literacy activities.
The adventure highlighted how diverse texts improve vocabulary, language understanding, and confidence. Yeboneers learnt to recognise different learning styles and adapt their approach so every learner could grow and participate meaningfully.
