From Learners to Leaders
Empowering youth with the knowledge and tools to address climate change is essential in building a more sustainable and resilient future. Through the Green Rising and Champions for Nature programs, the goal is to develop young leaders who can take initiative, influence policy, and implement impactful environmental projects within their communities. Their active participation is key to driving lasting climate action from the grassroots level.
In a powerful show of youth leadership, 45 Senior Scouts and 8 Scout Leaders came together to learn green skills, create service projects, and take steps toward earning the Champions for Nature Badge. Guided by passionate mentors, they left not just with certificates—but with a renewed drive to lead and protect the planet.
Empowering youth with practical green skills and leadership training ignites their potential to drive real environmental change. The experience highlighted the importance of collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on learning in shaping committed and capable climate leaders.
