Green Pulse Project – Rooftop Plantation Drive
To combat urban pollution and utilize unused spaces, we aimed to create a green, sustainable environment by planting trees on rooftops. As Scouts, we felt responsible to take initiative and inspire others toward eco-conscious action.
With support from Former SPL Of BMSCSG(Samiur Rahman Khan) Umid Hasan of Samatat Open Scout Group, we selected suitable saplings, prepared the rooftop space, and planted trees using eco-friendly methods. A care routine was set to ensure healthy growth.
We learned the power of teamwork, the impact of small actions in urban sustainability, and how to creatively use limited space to make a difference. It reinforced our belief that true leadership starts with taking initiative.
