Book Donation Drive
unlock the potential with the power of books. by donating to school with the least resources, you are helping to bridge the educational gap and empower students with the tools they needed to succeed. the project was initiated by the rover scouts of Paro college of education, narrowing the gaps between advanced and developing schools with good and useful resource to make difference in the world.
We had used the social media platform to collect the books. After collecting the books we have sorted all books for different levels such as, dzongkha (Bhutanese language books), children's literature, research papers, textbooks for primary school and other hand-written book donated by college students for primary level. Then after sorting the books, we have packed all the books and started donating to different schools and institution including nuns, mostly in the primary school.
Through this project i have learned how to work as a team to make grater difference in the community. Moreover, I have learned to think locally and acting globally, where every change in the world begins from ourself.
