They call it the Land of opportunities that is Embu, this is why 20 rovers across the country were offered an opportunity to attend a four day ENVIROMENTAL ADVOCACY training to enable them implement and be equipped with skills that will enable them be good advocates in there advocacy journey. Advocacy helps us build communities, long term impact and sustainability, sense of empowerment and personal fulfillment. When we engage in advocacy we influence better decision and promoting a cause or a issue. Participants engagement and presentation enlightened each other on various activities there are carrying out in there communities. For me, my mind shifted from creating awareness to engaging in environmental advocacy, civic engagement and approaching policy makers in my home county to create a clean earth
