Service as a helping hand in food outlet named Kamla by SEWA (Self Employed Women's Association)

KAMLA - A place where hygienic food is served in Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India). A place by the women and of the women. It is a part of SEWA (Self-Employed Women's Association) which helps women from different districts of the state in getting employment. Here, starting from the ingredients to cooked food, everything is sold by women from different villages. Women in need are getting a platform for employment. People have started liking their food and hence demand has increased. They are facing difficulties in managing the crowd and fulfilling the requirements with limited number of employees. Hence, on Women's Day we approached them and requested them if we can provide a helping hand. We had a mutual agreement for such a noble cause. Scouting members will be providing them services in their free time and they will always be happy to allow our scouts for doing social service. We had previlege to work with Uma madam(director of KAMLA) and Hemlata madam(a retired teaacher helping in KAMLA). The team was very happy with our today's service and they have promised that they will always be open for Scouting group to volunteer for social service.

Happy Scouting!
